Introduction

This huge expanded Bibliography has a great and large contents ever made on this subject before, compiled in 17 Bibliographical Chapters. Highlighting the period of the History and culture of Cilician Armenia, in the past and present.

This work tabulated with possible information accessible for the History, Armenian Genocide, other topics related to Armenia and Cilician Armenia, for the span of 500 years (1500-2001). Enrich with study on the Art and the culture in Cilicia, with special appendix for maps, illustrations, and coins.

At last my dream comes true, to accomplish this colossal and enlarged "Bibliography of Cilician Armenia", which is designed to be the first accomplishment of its kind. It is written by using the existence of more than fifty thousand evidences of books, magazine and periodicals. The book is surveyed to be the most authoritative of its kind, and provides us with information for the span of five hundred years of studies, related to Cilicia.

The content of this work is not just a list of books and articles, but in fact, a window to the history and civilization of Cilician Armenia, beginning from the first settlement up to our days.

This achievement is an outcome of extensive and exhausting years of continuous studies, endured 25 years of labor. The book contains list of 6.200 titles of books and studies, collected from around the world, in different languages and from different times.

Cilician Armenia endured many tragedies & catastrophes, which caused huge losses in cultural treasures originated by the incessant invasions of Mamluks, Seljuks Mongols, and the Turks. Paved the way to vandalism and destruction, were a great part of these values that had been destroyed, burned or plundered. Thank goodness, there is still alive a vast evidence which continues to exist, and by means of this bibliography, it comes to illustrate these testimonies.

The Bibliography contains a colossal list of the original, secondary and recent sources; arranged in 17 Chapters-each chapter has different subject.

In addition I have prepared a short notes and information related to all these subjects.
